Monte Sereno

Monte Sereno

Monte Sereno is a small, residential city between Los Gatos and Saratoga with around 4,000 residents. Known for its peaceful, residential atmosphere, Monte Sereno has no commercial areas—only homes, city offices, a community center, and a few churches. Proximity to downtown Los Gatos makes shopping and dining easily accessible. Monte Sereno shares amenities with Los Gatos, including police services, parks, a library, and several schools within the Los Gatos Union and Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School Districts. While most of the city falls under Los Gatos schools, a small section belongs to the Campbell Union School District. Monte Sereno is home of the spacious streets and lots. The architectural style is primarily ranch, with some Mediterranean, Mid-Century Modern, and Victorian homes. There’s a unique Eichler section on Via Sereno, and the Loma Serena neighborhood offers an equestrian lifestyle with stables, an arena, and riding trails. Monte Sereno’s real estate market is largely luxury, with homes starting around $3 million, and premium properties reaching $10 million or more, especially for expansive estates in prime locations.
